About Us: Kiwanis is an international service organization dedicated to "Serving the Children of the World®".  The Kiwanis Club of Metropolis meets every Tuesday at noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 520 Ferry Street in Metropolis (click for a map).  Parking is available behind the church (east side).  Enter at the northeast corner of the building (the side closest to 6th Street), come down a half flight of stairs, turn right at the bottom of the stairs, and you will find us.  We welcome all interested individuals to contact us, join us as a guest at a meeting, and learn about becoming a member of our organization.  

You are welcome to read our Information Document for Prospective Members and this colorful two-page brochure (pdf) to "Discover What We're All About".  Another good way to learn about our club and the things we do is to look through our past newsletters and photographs, available via the navigation menu (see note at the top of this page).

Our Calendar: This calendar gives dates and times for club activities, and in many cases includes a link to a map (click on a specific event to get the map link).  You can select week, month, or agenda view and can scroll through dates using the white-on-blue arrows on the left side, or jump to a specific date using the drop-down calendar (use the arrow to the right of the date range).  Google Calendar users can subscribe to our calendar or to specific events, and can create their own notifications and reminders.  After clicking on a specific event you can choose to have it added to your own Google Calendar.  You can also import our calendar to your own calendar by clicking the "+Google Calendar" button in the bottom right corner.
